Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was large, very clean with amazing views of mountains. A small mountain town which caters for people visiting the hot pools. Some great forest walks, mountain bike tracks and limited skiing coupled with great restaurants and very varied accommodation. We always have a pamper package when we arrive which includes a massage, sauna or steam, and use of the pools. We go there for rest and relaxation mainly. Lovely resort town, with lots of exciting attractions all year round.

Hot pools and spa, bike and horse riding, walks, beautiful scenery,jet boating, shopping and nice food places. Theres a golf course, ski field and many other attractions. Travelling from Christchurch is 2hrs north heading towards the Lewis Pass.
