Three remaining are given randomly while you play and are usually in forms of cases. To open a case and see what skin is inside, you will have to buy a key. Whenever you move up to the next rank within one week, a drop gets triggered after a completed match on a VAC secure server. If your playtime and your rank ups increase the drop rate will slow down, but it gets reset with every new week. Drops are guaranteed to happen between 30 and 70 minutes of play time.

On average this is about every 50 minutes, up to a max of ten 10 hours in one week. The drops just stop. You will get 2 drop maximum each day an a total of 4 each week. Half will be weapons, and half will be crates.
