How does tears of a tiger end

Perhaps it was too early for him to go; perhaps it was an impulsive decision. However, I felt it was inevitable. The hints were too obvious and the efforts made to divert Andy from this destructive path did not help much. Many books tend to have an antagonist of some kind to present a challenge for the hero to overcome. The antagonist is often a stereotypical villain that commits evil for the sake of being evil.

It is up for the brave and morally superior hero to defeat the villain, save the day, and bring the story to a happy ending. In Tears of a Tiger, there is no designated antagonist. There is no happy ending either. Andrew Jackson is the main hero of the book. Everyone involved in the story is either his friends or relatives that try to help him on his way to recovery. So, who is the villain here then? The answer is — nobody.

Throughout the story, he expressed a desire to suffer and die, in order to repent for what happened to Robbie. It gnawed and burned the boy from the inside, as he explained to us in the text. Eventually, the pain became too much to handle. During that brief moment when he felt it the worst and there was nobody around to help, Andy made the decision to end his life.

Did his crime deserve such suffering? No, it did not. His death did not bring Robbie or his parents any consolation or satisfaction. It only brought more pain. I have a few reasons to explain this. I believe that an author should write only about something he or she knows and understands or has personal experience. I never had any serious depressions. I never had any suicidal inclinations nor did I ever understand suicide.

I think it is just a wrong and selfish thing to do. Every suicide leaves behind a grieving family. More often than not, they did nothing to deserve this. Some authors claim they have a talent of getting into the mindset of other people, but how could they be sure they are getting it right?

How could I write about something that I never experienced or understood? To me, it would be similar to writing a research paper in astrophysics. I might write it well, however, it would never evolve beyond being a rephrased copy. A replica could never outperform original thought. Perhaps the readers would find my writings to be insightful.

However, most of the readers are regular people, like me. He wakes up just in time to feel the car burst into flames, and he yells out for his friends to help him, but they can't since the door is jammed. Since the accident, Andy's felt guilty because he was the one driving. Even though he got a two-year suspended sentence and has to take a couple of DUI classes, Andy doesn't feel like he's actually been punished for what he did.

He blames himself for Robbie's death. He talks to his coach about it, and he tells him that Robbie wouldn't have blamed him, but this doesn't help much; Andy is still haunted by his guilt.

Pretty soon, Andy starts playing basketball again. Now that Robbie isn't on the team anymore, Andy takes his place as team captain. Everyone starts to get back to the way things were before the accident—well, everyone except Andy, that is.

He can't wrap his head around his school work anymore, and he doesn't care if he lives or dies. It's a rough ending, especially since we root for him and want him to survive. At the same time, though, it's an ending we totally see coming as we watch Andy lose hope and convince himself that he's all alone in the world.

Remember when Andy looks at the crash site and almost jumps off the road to the cars below? The only thing stopping him is Keisha—she pulls him back and tells him not to do it. Another time, Andy talks about killing himself in therapy and his psychologist gets him to open up a bit, assuring Andy that he's there for him, day or night. What grade level is Tears of a Tiger?

What happens at the end of Tears of a Tiger? How many pages is Tears of a Tiger? How many chapters are in tears of a tiger? Why does BJ decide to go back to church? What was Andy punishment in tears of a tiger?
